Tomato juice helps with the smell, but DON'T GET IT ON YOUR PAINT!!!! The acidity of the tomato will eat away your clearcoat

I went to the selfserve carwash and pressure washed the bottom of the car and it did a pretty good job. once home we took other car out and locked this one in garage. there was some skunk smell in house when we got back a couple hours later but only in small pockets, and funny the garage didn't smell at all????? hope skunk didn't survive under car and is now living under house.
i used fabreeze on the seats and carpets. now tonight i don't really smell it anymore.

Thanks for all of the advice.[sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif][sm=hail.gif]

Febreeze works wonders, if a dog gets sprayed you use scope mouthwash to rid the smell and clean their coat....good luck!

I've had plenty of skunk experience!

as far as home remedies:
white vinegar and lots of it

but you can get stuff at a pet supply shop that'll work much better.

underwash, underwash underwash.

eventually the smell will go away, but it will linger. forever

mask it inside the cabin as best you can. keep a bottle of febreze in the trunk and mist it every day

Try not to run over skunks!
