yah I plan to get 185 cc heads from AFR. Are those a must if I was going to get a supercharger ?

on 5.0's is virtually no additional cost to go ahead and stroke the motor vs replacing rods, crank, and piston with stock stuff during a rebuild. I can tell you that when my 4.6 goes (oh and it will hehe - it definately gets raped every chance I get) its gonna get stroked to 5.1 cubes, fo shizzle. No machine work needed to fit the extra stroke on a 4.6 eigther

you might consider going a little bigger if your going to supercharge

Heads are a must, and 185 are small go with a 205 or victor Jr. Heads are the best upgrade you can do on any motor, and should be first because without them you can boost,stoke,juice all you want but if you can not move the volume of air it aint no good fo nothin.

vc jrs are all out race heads, they would flow more than a 205 afr, when used with forced induction

yep thats right and thats why i have a set, they are freakin bad the runners are huge and the valves almost tuch, and they are PERTY ALSO.

thats right $800.00 buckaros..it all together bag up and waiting for the lucky person,,i even got a soild roller cam that i ran it at the track with just add ,,victor jrs heads ,,super victor intake ,,750 carb,,and go 11.70 on motor @119....look just like these pistons on my 408 ..there flat tops block decked ,,,with 60 cc heas 11.0 compression
