Need help with brakes
Ok I have a 1978 Mustang II. Me and my dad changed the brakes because they were shot. We put new ones on and everything, they work fine, but there is this annoying rattling sound that is very loud. People can hear it from a block away. It's coming from the front disk brakes. However when I apply the brakes, the noise goes away. SO i'm thinking its a brake pad or something of that sort that rattles around whenever i go over a bump in the road or even the slightest bit of rock thats on the road, the rattling begins. And there also is this annoying High Pictched quiet squeek from the brakes. It too stops when I apply them. So any suggestions, tips, or know how? Or should I just have brake doctors go look at it?
Thanks!
Thanks!
We did, and added this goo stuff that was supposed to help but didn't. My oldest bro is a Mechanic, I asked him and he said rotor might be hitting something, and squilers might be doing something weird...
