Just bought a 1994 GT convertible and the drivers seat will go up and down but not froward and back. switch seems ok so question is, since motor must be bad, do I replace motor or do i replace the whole seat track and motor system? It has leather seats and I have to take out seats to get them recovered. serviceman at ford dealership said motor replacement was hard to do. Is he tellin me story so he can get paid for it or is he tellin truth. ?? bought this from a girl and so seat is real close to dash and I am 6'2" at 240 so cramped in there. Need help fast so I can drive it comfortably.
