Default 03GT vs 00Z28

I was on my way home from my friend's house late Saturday night. I just sat at the stoplight of a no-traffic feeder road, listening to my music, when i noticed a 94 Prelude pull up to my left, and an LS1 Z28 pull up to my right. So the guy in the prelude looks at me and revs his inline-4. Im 16 and I only had Flowmaster mufflers at the time, but my car sounds clean i couldnt resist revving back, overpowering his fart-can moan. Then the Camaro to my right drowns my 4.6L Flowmaster rumble with a 5.7L Borla roar, echoing for about 5 seconds. Green light comes, and I take it to the max. The Prelude was inhaling our exhaust after about 2 seconds, and it was just me against the Camaro. I bang shifted through each gear at 5800 rpms (the redline), praying that I wouldnt be too embarrased by his victory. After what seemed like a quarter mile, the LS1 and I ended the race with his tail lights 3 feet ahead of my head lights. I have never been so surprised in my life, and once the guy in the Camaro rolled down the window to see Jr here in the driver's seat of a Mustang that managed to keep up, he looked like he would have pissed his pants. I guess i was just plain lucky, but this was my personal proof that Mustangs are clearly capable of competition, and since then ive never even questioned whether or not i should have bought a GM sportscar instead.

To this day, my car is equipped with cold air intake, 70mm throttle body, Raised Intake Plenum, and a high flow H pipe to compliment the flows. My question to those who read this - what set of rear axle gears should i get (along with any other performance products) to improve my acceleration and hopefully beat the Camaro next time I see him?

Good story...
If your staying NA 4.10 would be your best bet... you would have won that race with just that much more...

Good story man but your so be safe on the highway man. 4.10s are the best for the modular motors.
