What did you expect? you welded the spider gears and now you have a spool and absolutely no differential to help the wheels go around a corner. Unless you like buying new tires, I strongly suggest you get a new differential in there ASAP.

i know that. it is a temp fix until my new 8.8 w/ 3.73 gears and locker come in. along with steeda adjustable control arms. i was at the junkyard getting ones off an 04 Mach 1 this morning. poor Mach 1.
