Winter Battery

Hey, first time facing northeast winter, heard battery goes dead in 10 days. Is this true? Drive the accord to the station (its only got 96,000 miles). Do I need disconnect battery? Is there some kind of booster? Is it bad to let it drain and jump when need stang releif?

Welcome to the forums...

Winter will kill a dying battery.... when it happens, replace it with a good battery with high cranking amps... dont worry about the battery... buy a tank heater an plug your car in at night...
