Default Winter Battery

Hey, first time facing northeast winter, heard battery goes dead in 10 days. Is this true? Drive the accord to the station (its only got 96,000 miles). Do I need disconnect battery? Is there some kind of booster? Is it bad to let it drain and jump when need stang releif?

Welcome to the forums... Winter will kill a dying battery.... when it happens, replace it with a good battery with high cranking amps... dont worry about the battery... buy a tank heater an plug your car in at night...
