Default Rear end

I have a 02 Mustang and I noticed over the past couple of months a small oil spot on my garage floor under the rear end of the car. My questions is how hard is it to check and fill the rear end with lube? Also, is there any particular brand of lube that I should use?

I'm taking a road trip tomorrow and want to make sure it's okay.

Thanks,

It's not that hard if you can get her to hold still. A few drinks first will help.

The rear end drum assembly should
have a plug near the top and a
smaller plug lower down.
The idea is to fill the top till the
geer oil starts to drip from the
lower.

A few drips usually means nothing.
