Default Throttle body and spacer.

Can I throw any size throttle body say 70mm on the intake, or does it have to match up with something? Also, the spacer. What does it actually improve, and how does it work?

yes.
spacer improves throttle response by creating a rip in the space/time continuem.

don't waste money on Intake mods until you've done something significant that will truely benefit from the upgrade. STock exhuast is fine on 04 and older model stangs.
