Default Help! clutch problem!

okay so, i've had my car for about a month, put 2500 mi on it. its a 1999 v6 stang with a 5 spd. the clutch pedal is very high, and now i have a problem where i can't get it to shift into any gear! when i press the clutch in, sometimes i hear a high pitched whistle, or hum. other times i hear and feel a scraping. also, i am able to shift, but i have to ram and force the gear into place. when i got close to home, i felt liek the clutch **** the bed so i said what the hell, and without using the clutch, began shifting gears, it was easier than with the clutch..
Can SOMEBODY PLEASE shed some light on this issue? its my only car. and its just started snowing. i dont need this right now. Also, how much do new clutches run? is it worth it to put in a stage 2 or something like that? thanks guys, i appreciate any advice you can give me. Erich. this may be a double, post, if it is sorry.

Throw out bearing is shot. Pull the tranny and replace it yourself it will be alot cheaper.
