car revs high

Default car revs high

sometimes when i start my car it revs high like 2500 to 3000 rpm for 10 seconds or until i take it out of park.

Could be a bad engine temperature sensor or outside air temperature sensor telling the ECU that it is much colder than it really is.
Try unplugging one of them and starting the engine and see what it does with one unplugged. If it idle normally, then the one that is unplugged needs to be replaced with a new one.

where exactly are these 2 things located on the car. and where can i get a throttle posistion sensor at and how much do they run.

The engine coolant temperature sensor in mounted in a metal tube running across the lower intake manifold toward the heater box. Not sure exactly where the air inlet temp sensor is located although it could be incorporated into the MAF sensor since that's how the sensor works by reading the temperature change across a heated wire. TPS sensors can be bought at a Ford dealer or other auto parts stores like AutoZone and I don't have any idea how much they cost as I've never had to buy one.
