transmission grinding

Default transmission grinding

i'm only grinding going into 2nd gear from 1st, and only when the RPM is past 5500. what's the deal? do i need to get a new transmission?

GT 2003 - pretty much stock

Can be handled with a minor overhaul. But.... Since you have to pull the trans anyway, ever thought about going with a TKO or the like, if you can spring it, its the way to go.

It will also grind if the car is cold.
