same here, get 4.10's, Diablo Predator, and B&M shift kit. Mine barks 2nd often, take it to the dealership. Hell test drive another auto and see if it's the same.

Theres no way for the dealership to find out that youve messed w/ it or not if you just pull out the chip, as far as i know. Hey Fat Nick, how do those dynomax mufflers sound on your car i had them on my first car but it was a 4 cylinder and i was happy w/ the sound.

 

check out www.lentechautomatics.com for another source of improvements for you auto tranny. these guys pioneered the beefed up Ford AOD trannies and can supply everything you need to improve the one you have now.

I'd rather have an auto with a high stall & gears + shift kit than a 5 speed.

I had a mean shift kit & stall in my Iroc-z and nothing was going to beat me off the line on the street.

 

The 3.73 gears will give you the best shift. It will be far away from mushy. 4.10 would even be better but dont make a great daily driver. the difference in the lower gears will put a grin on your face

 

what would be a good stall converter to go with for a daily driver? I was thinking anywhere from 2200-2600 for mine.

 

2200-2500 is good remember it need to be in the bottom of the rpm range on the cam, engine set up...I wouldn't buy these burnt chip..go with something like a tweecer so "you" can make the changes without those reburn charges
