Can anyone give me an overview of the differences in the main wiring harnesses between Fox (86-93) and SN (94-98) mustangs. Also is there a difference between the v-8 and the v-6 cars (main harness only).

its not jsut and over view, the stsyem is entirly different from 90's to 1993 then from 1994-1995 then 1997-1998 then again from 1999-2004

pretty much nothing is interchangable connectors have been changed and wiring schematics have been modified

a good example is fox bodies have 2 main harnesses, engine and body, 1997+ has 4 body, dash, engine compartment and engine , then you have v6 and v8 wiring is not even close after obd2

better to swap everything

 

I was afraid of that.......do you know if a person switched evrything from a 94-95 5.0L car that a 94 v6 engine harness would plug in and work?
