anyone know what is involved in turning satin aluminum into polished? i know polishing, but with any special chemicals or tools?

What you really need to do is go to www.stangnet.com and search for posts by Mansonozz. He's the polishing guru and has covered the "how to" of this many times there.

dude i used some neverdull on my valve covers and it shinned them so good
