Default Muffler Questions?

I plan to buy a Pypes Exhaust brand muffler. the race pro brand if you're wondering. how much worse will it be if I U-bolt the muffler on the weld (to stock existing pipes)? and if you own/have heard Pypes mufflers, any opinions on them? suggestions?

DK, don't waste your $$ with those pypes mufflers. I tried them and they sounded like tin cans. if you want to invest your money on exhaust upgrades, go for JBA, Borlas, or even Edelbrock. Good luck!

man. I just got owned. haha. I was looking forward to not forking over a huge stack of 20's for a single muffler. thanks for the input, though.

that's good. because I can't afford to dump a whole buncha money into my car because I work at a grocery store that pays me 50 cents an hour BELOW minimum wage. and I'm not too concerned about the power. just the sound. (it sounds like a V6. nuff said.)

I worked at a grocery store for 4 years. best place to work IMO , if your a bagger, nag your boss to make you stock crew or dairy.

I'm very sorry to hear that. but I work at a small grocery store, so I'm in stock, dairy AND bagging. terrible job.

I just checked the autozone (and pep poys) website and didn't find any (on either website) Dynomax mufflers under $80.
