RE: some people sure can wreck a car
I know this is an old thread but I haven't been on this site in a while but..
GreyStang, I hope this comment "Yea I hate rich clueless nOOb's who "build cars" simply by writing cheques [:@] " wasn't about me because you have no clue on who I am and what kind of person I am. I worked very hard and saved a long time to get my car. So before you start calling people rich and clueless, you might want to find out more about that person otherwise you just sound like an idiot!!!! I might be a noob on this site but I'm not a noob to the Mustang world.

There wasn't a 2000 GT R, there was however a 2000 Mustang Cobra R. Which had no a/c, no power windows/seats, no radio and a 5.4L with 385hp. It was all go and no show. The entire purpose of that car was to produce a lightweight production no frills high performance car

There was actuallya Mustang GT-R concept that was made. I think it was in 2005. It was basically like the Cobra one but with the new body style. Stripped down and made just for racing. I don't think anything came of it though. I also have a diecast replica of it. Hee is a link that shows some pics and some specs.
