Jugador, the idea seems valid....on paper.
If you get in a wreck and an inspector comes out to look at it, finds a V8, you'll get it handed to you for insurance fraud, which is a very bad legal bind to be in.

Beater is the rusty looking ones. With a body like that, and a rebuilt small block....it's a sleeper and you can buy 'em cheap as hell.
Receipts to proove they bought the parts for the motor/rebuild (never take someone's word on it), and keep a look out for other engines. Those parts the receipts are for could have gone into those.
Liability so you're insured, but it's much cheaper than full coverage, and legal.

HOLY s**t!You guys are being raped.I pay 123 a month for my mustang and my homoeowners insurance and both have full coverage.The insurance company knowes what i have in the car too as they have pics of everything in or on the car.And im only 22.Thats insane what some of you are paying.How many tickets and wrecks you all been in?Ive had none luckily.
