Default Need Advice

I have a manuel 99 GT Convertable WITHOUT TRACTION CONTROL. I have already instaled steeda UDP, 75mm throttle body and Plenom,
JLT CAI, Diablo Sport Tuner, Steeda shifter, bassani catback, and pypes catted x. I already have but not instaled my 4.10 gears, shim and instal kit.
My Question is that with the winters here in Washington state with the rain. Should I instal my gears now or are they really that much
of a differance that I should wait until spring. Please give some advice since I have never driven a mustang GT with 4.10 gears and I don't
know how my DD will enjoy them in the rain.

Thanks Albrutis

Rear end gear ratios will have no effect on the car in rain. The wheels will spin easier but you will be able to control that with no problem.

?!?!?!?!?

how could you say rear dif gears dont make a difference in rain/snow???

of course they will make a difference, it will be a lot harder to keep traction! A LOT

however, i installed my 4.10s right before winter in Chicago and I was fine, do you have any suspension work?

Once you install them the NEXT winter you're stuck with them anyway. No pun intended. Stangs aint too great in the snow. They need a gentle right foot. Some narrow snow tires help alot too.

I do have a Tokico spring and shock lowering kit that is a 1.5 inch drop that really helped my handleing, but if it is slick out
I don't think that it will help much. I also have 275 kuhmo all season tires in the rear that I just put on. They are working really well
but a little throttle goes a long way and I am just thinking that I might just put them in and slowly break them in and get used to it.
As it is I am right now breaking in my new King Cobra Clutch and Spec flywheel, so for a little while I am still going to be taking it easy.
Thanks
