Default Removing trim panel

I want to remove trim panel pictures above, the silver one that goes around radio and AC. How do I do that?

Objective is to figure out how to remove my radio, I seem to get absolutely no help on that from these forums.

Can't help you on the stang but
on my cruiser there is one screw
(not necessary) and the panel
prys off slowly with a flat bladed
screwdriver.
I would start at the bottom and pry
a little and see if it gives. Work the
driver around and I bet it pops off.

first remove shifter bezel by pulling up in one of the edges...will be a tough bugger will need some force disconnect any connections

then the radio bezel is easy but a bitch at the same time. When you remove shifter bezel you will see how it is held in...and dats the same way the radio bezel is held in.....

also there are lil fingers inside the 2 verts that hold it in...

what i did was just got one edge up and used the thickness of my finger and go around the edges and pry up(carefull of cuts to your fingers) and with some force was able to get it all the way off

that should do it

Din keys? i.e. radio removal tool, kind of U shaped pieces of wire? Yea I wish I could remove the radio using that, but on 01+ they dont use them no more. Manual says it is now held with two bolts, I also have a guy saying there should be two more bolts in the rear.
