odds are its a dirty IAC, take it off and clean it first with carb cleaner then finish it off with brake cleaner to remove any residue left from the carb cleaner.

this can be about confirmed if your car will die when you're coming to a stop. and just wondering, what do you do when cleaning it doesnt work? just get a new one? cause i tried cleaning mine and it didnt do anything really. i know there's some crap about adjusting screws and voltage, but i didnt get it really.
