Default 2001 V6 Air Conditioning Problem

The fan motor on my 2001 V6 Coupe stopped working and seems to only work at about a medium speed. The temp seems pretty cool but the fan speed is definitely slower. Its quite hot here and it started this right after starting the engine on a hot day and turning the air on Max AC. I checked the fuses for the blower motor, AC pressure, and compressor clutch and all were fine. Any ideas on the problem?

there are usually several resistors used to control the fan speed on the AC blower and my guess is you burned one in two and the fan cannot get the full current to make it run full speed. don't know anything about the 2001 models so I can't tell you where to look for them either, sorry!
