anyone know what type of lifter came on the stock ford 302 ?

i'm having a really hard time find info on the net and my small-block rebuilding book by tom monroe doesn't list it.

 

I believe it was a standard hydraulic lifter common to Ford vehicles of that era. If you really want to know for sure, try calling the Ford tech line at 586-468-1356 and those guys can surely tell you anything you need to know.

 

it was a flat tappet hydraulic non-roller or it could have been a flat tappet solid non-roller in the boss 302.
