They USED to have seal problems, now they have an unlimited 3 year warrany even with 9+ lbs of boost, no other company will even put a warrany on 8# systems for that long. Saying they blow seals is outdated information. If you get your Procharger and you do blow a seal or it tears up, you send it back to them and get a full refund PLUS the installation and removal cost, AND shipping. Or you can keep the unit and Procharger will send you 2000 dollars. You dont have anything to worry about with Procharger. Prochargers are totaly self contained so there is no punching a hole in the oil pan. Also the air to air intercooler is much more efficient on a daily driver than that of an air-water system. Air-Water aftercooler from Vortech requires a pump and second (smaller of course) radiator. That is just more stuff to tear up. Procharger kits do no require battery reloacation where Vortech systems do. Also Procharger is filing a lawsuit against Vortech because for the second time, Vortech has lowered their power gains in their new catalog released at SEMA. Vortech refuses to do a 1 on 1 test with Procharger for reasons unknown. I am not saying Vortech is a bad company at all, but I have sat and compared Vortech with Procharger for hours and hours. When I'm going to spend 3000+ hard earned dollars on somthing, I'm going to be for damn sure its the right thing and not just a name. Racers using Procharger are in the positions to win 6 national championships, and hold 11 records in 7 different classes. Not to bad for a 10 year old company. Based on what Procharger has presented me Vs. what Vortech has, I would be ignorant to spend my money on Vortech. Last word : Go to Procharger.com and get a cataloge, you will never look at another forced induction system.
