I have finally purchased a 66 mustang. It is a straight six and I want to keep it that way. I in the process of breaking the engine down but I am having a problem removing the harmonic balancer. I have removed the fan pulley and there is one pulley remaining. Any advice?

 

A harmonic balancer puller is about the only way to get it off.Make sure if there is a washer under the bolt that it is removed before you crank the puller bolt.
If you don't have one of these pullers you can borrow one at Advance Auto Parts,you just leave a deposit and pull pulleys 'till your hearts content.
