Default Tremec 3650 3000+ RPM rattle in 1st & 2nd Gears

I just converted my 02 GT Auto to a Tremec 3650 three days ago. I purchased the kit from MPS Auto Salvage for $2499. I had it professionally installed. I also had the following installed: Spec 2 hybrid Clutch, Steeda Tri Shifter and new flywheel and plot bearing. The total cost was around $4200.

In first and second gear, over 3000 rpm the tranny makes a metallic rattle. This rattle can't be felt. Once I push down on the clutch, the rattle stops. It seems to affect 1st and 2nd over 3000 rpm. It is more noticable when driving near a wall. The echo effect brings it out. I hear nothing as long as I shift under 3000. Other than that, the tranny acts normal even under full boost at 6400 rpm.

Can anyone think of what this may be?

thanks
Janine

This might sound like a stupid reply, but try holding your e-brake handle and see if that stops the rattle. I thought I had a rattle in my 3650 in first and second and I could not figure out what it was to save me life. Then I finally noticed that it wasn't my tranny. This probably isn't that case since you did the whole tranny swap and everything, but just see if that works. Mine did it when I bought the car but then it got worse when I put my exhaust on so that is when I found the problem. It really sounded like it was coming from the tranny though.

No reply in this case is stupid. I will try holding the E-Brake and see if that has anything to do with it. I am running a Magna Flow Catted X Pipe and a MagnaFlow CatBack. This Exhaust System got a whole lot louder after the conversion. Maybe the Pipe is lose? Going to take it in tomorrow morning and have the shop figure it out. I do thank you for your reply.
