transmission swap

I have a 1988 GT 5.0L and I'm swaping the AOD Transmission with a 5 speed from a 1997 3.8L. What all will i need to do this swap? Is the bell housing the same? Pedal? Slave cylinder and linkage? Any information is greatly appreciated.
