has anyone put a stripe on the new mustangs theirself. Any tips ?

Yeah,here's a tip!
Get it painted on by a pro.Stickers are for little kids to play with.
There's going to be some disagreement about this but going the cheap route with things like this takes away value that would be added with well applied graphics.This includes the pattern as well as the material.
Another disadvantage to stickers is,the paint underneath doesn't age at the same rate as the rest of the car.When the stickers are removed there will be darker paint where the stickers were and will look like crap.
