car dying

anyone have any ideas why my car when started cold will die in like 2 seconds but then restarts and idles great just after. I have a 90 mm maf and #24 injectors if that helps? thanks in advance

well i dont have a reader so i was gonna see if anyone had a good answer without going to the codes but if no one knows my problem then i will have to see if there are codes soon.

Sounds like a sensor or fuel supply issue. If the rails aren't fully pressurized immediately, it'll only run for a short period of time.

One thing to try is to turn the key to 'ON' and wait for about a second before going to 'START.'

carb cleaner on your MAF?

i think its your injectors..it may leaking fuel while the engine are stop

??? huh? that's one heck of an assupmtion don't you think? Not sure what you're basing that off since he failed to mention any relevant info that would lead you to that assumption.

Pull the codes and see what the car is trying to tell you. Sensors like ECT and others can cause cold start issues...or like in my case my SCT tune had to be played with to accomodate the cold start feature.
