357 or 306
Im new at BUILDING an engine and looking to grab one for a boost application and maybe a 50-75 shot of nitrous. Now im looking at either a 357W or a 306 shortblock. now i want a street worthy car that can go to the track and still run like mad. Now would a 357 or 306 be a better bet for me? Im looking to put it into a fox body and which will give the best bang for the buck
A 351W stroked out to 427 would be the best bang for the buck. You need to strengthen the internals anyway, so you may as well buy the stroker kit while you're at it.
