Motor mounts Removel & install????
Yeah that's the way to do it. When you jack up the engine, make sure you put a block of wood between the jack and the oil pan so you don't punch a hole in it or dent it.
It's just as easy to cut a piece of 2 x 4 with a slight curve in it to fit it under the front of the oil pan and jack the motor up from here so as not to take a chance on denting in the oil pan. and loosen all three bolts/nuts on the motor mounts before you jack it up so you do it safely with the motor not jacked up yet. If you don't mind a little vibration transferring into the chassis, you could go with solid metal mounts and loose the flex inherent with the stock mounts too! and you never have to worry about changing them ever again!
