looking to do an ecu chip. looking at some brands - Diablosport, superchips, sniper, etc. whos got the best chip for the buck?? also i heard that someone pulled out 60HP with a diablosport chip tuned to his car. sound realaistic??

www.fordfuelinjection.com has a page that lists all the tuners/computers available along with the pros/cons.

Basically, unless you have forced induction, nitrous, and/or access to a dyno, tuners are passable (unless you change gears, of course).

No chip is the best. The only chip that's worth a penny is getting on a dyno and having a chip burned for you.

Whoever told you they picked up 60hp, must of had one rich *** running 400+HP car with other issues holding back it's power. Otherwise he's out of his freakin' mind.
