Default Good mustangs

Hello fellow fellow stangers... i am new to these forums and would liek to start my post with a friendly hi. And secondly i would like to say.. the reasons i joined these forums are to learn the most possible about mustangs, and i appreciate every post i get in responce to my questions, thanks. Ok now for my first question, I'm 18, and looking for a new car (right now i own a 92 thunderbird lx) and of course i have my eyes set on a mustang, what would be a good first mustang for me, excluding the late 70's-93 models, and what prices should I be looking at that are actually reasonable, oh and eya i want it to be a stick shift too

Well how much money are you willing to spend and what style mustang do you like the most?

You can get get a Fox body for pretty cheap but it will be hard if not impossible to find one with low miles.

The early sn95 mustangs(94-98) are good cars, but kinda slow. you should be able to find one for cheap.

And lastly the 99+ GT's being very quick with 260hp and 302tq. I got my 2001 GT with only 17k miles for about $13000 so if you look around you can find one for reasonably cheap also.

Or if you wana be a badass get a 98 cobra or a mach 1. A 98 cobra probably wont set you back too much.

Im sure if you look hard enough you should be able to find a GT for 6500 or under, but I havnt been car shoping for those years so Im not 100% positive. Would you want a V6 or no?
