Which engine? If it's a 5.0L, then it's an easy swap. Just change in the intake and ignition system.

If it's a 4.6L, it's still possible (Ford makes the carb'd intake and mechanical dizzy), but won't be as inexpensive.

Where do you live? Be sure the final result passes local emmission laws

Yeah. You're gonna have to stay on top of the carb if you do that. You'll need to make sure its running good at least around inspection time. I've seen it done before, I just figured it would mess with the sensors and **** somehow. I dunno. If I was converting one way or another, it be carb to EFI, but at that, mine started it's life as a carb and will continue to be a carb.

it will pass emissiion because a 95 doesnt have to be plugged in as long as everything that is visibly part of emissions is there. also i know a guy that knows a guy that can get me an inspection sticker but we wont go into that too much

You can look through Ford Fuel Injection to get some ideas on computers for Ford engines. Fuel injection won't be that hard. Unless you're trying to extract every ounce of power, go EFI.

Bear in mind that the fuel injection system is "visibly part of the emissions". If you need to pass a visual, a carb isn't going to cut it.

emissions really wont be a problem...think about how mant people drop a 350 in an early to mid 90's s10 and they all pass dont they?

Not if they get inspections...

I'm lucky enough to live in a no-inspection area, so I could get away with it. However, if I lived a few miles west, I'd have inspections to worry about (and some 'repairs' to do).
