My setup you see below has a relally deep tone to it. I love it and it really only sounds like a nascar or indy car if you are running Flowmasters with an X. Believe me... I know. I hated the flows with my X.

x pipe acctually resonate the exhaust pulses at the same time resulting in the overall increase in power, don't worry about sound, worry about performance, let it sound like crap if you can walk on a Z06 all day long, just turn up the music and throw the middle finger as you fly by

And again... DONT WORRY ABOUT SOUND?!?! Thats half of owning a stang is the great sound it makes with the right setup's. And walk on a Z06!?!? A S/C GT with full exhaust will go toe to toe with one and win if lucky. You need to google everything you say from hear on out. [>:]

it was a theoretical statement, and yes, mustangs sound great, ALMOST ALL THE TIME, its pretty hard to screwup the sound of american muscle, but it happens everyday with the dumb young tuners

I just ordered 4.30 gears and now you have made up my mind about the X and H pipe. Going X pipe all the way!!
That'll be it till Spring time comes around.

Can I just put the X-pipe on without doing any other exhaust till Spring? The X-pipe is cheap enough to get for at least a better sound. I mean the Cobra sounds good but I woud like a little better sound until I do the full exhaust.

Would you guys think that an SLP loudmouth cat back with o/r x pipe will be a good combination or do you think i should go with a different exhaust and or an h pipe.

Isnt the SLP a chambered muffler? If so I think the SLP would sound raspy with the X pipe.

young ones messing it up? how exactly do we mess it up, my car sounds better than a lot of older guys mustangs and a lot worse than some, age has nothing to do with the sound you make your car have, give your head a shake.
