how wide can i go????
ORIGINAL: jacrockettI'm going to take my 275's from the rear, mount them up front, and go try some corners and bumps. That ought to answer the question.People talking about rim diameter as if it applies to tire diameter crack me up. Tire diameter is rim + tire sidewall (width x sidewall aspect ratio).e.g. 275/35R17 tire has a 275mm x .35 sidewallYou can get tires for a 20" dia wheel that ars the same outside diameter as a tire for a 17" wheel
275's fit on a new edge, thats what i run and my front has been lowered a full 1.5". i have very slight minimal rubbing when i fully turn to the right which i only do occationally when i park. its just the edge of the tire rubbing on my sway bar. no biggy at all, and it very rarely happens. 275's max up front and 325's max out back. period
