Default charging system

ok heres the deal my altenator took a crap on me and i swaped it out with a brand new one along with new battery claps for the batteryand it worked for about a day and then the indicator light came back on in the dash, but once the motor revs over 3500 rpms the light goes off. i know that the light means that the altenator is not charging the battery. is there something eles that could be causeing the indicator light to come on>? plz help i cant figure it out

I would have the new alt checked. I see a lot of new defective parts these days. It wouldn't surprise me.

Got mine from NAPA. Installed and
was no good. Take it back.
Also tighten your claps.
