I just bought a Proform shif light from summit. I installed it and it worked great when I tested it. then when i went to drive my car again it came on when i started my car like it suposed to so but then it blinked and my wipers cycled once(I taped into the wipers fuse for the power)
After that it didnt work. I checked all the connections and everything was good. I think it might have shorted out internally. I was wondering if anyone has a proform shift light or know of any problems with them. Id like to save myself a trip to summit if i could. Thanks for any imput.

 

did you check the bulb in the shift light to make sure it wasn't blown?

 

the light is brand new. I just put it in last saturday. It also said in the instructions that it will void my warranty If i take it apart. So ill probilly just take it back to summit and get another one.
