Default Air bag Code 52

A couple days ago my air bag light started blinking. At first, it kind of freaked me out, I mean, air bags are a safety feature and if they don't work that's not good. So I started searching previous posts on here in hopes of finding something good, and I did in fact find the information I needed. However, I found some of it hard to understand.

I do know that it is a Code 52, which means flashes 5 times, stops, flashes 2 times, stops, repeats. I did some research and found it had something to do with not enough voltage, or something on that lines, but it seemed everywhere I looked everyone was talking in scientific terms. My car also has been losing power randomly. I'll be driving around town and it will just go dead, then start back up while still moving. The battery has been relocated to the trunk, but I wonder if they're is something messed up with the wiring. Maybe a short or something. Are these problems related. If the car is losing power, maybe it's setting off the air bag light. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
