tailights dont work

RE: tailights dont work
last summer i had a problem with my taillights. did all the normal checking, bulbs, fuses, ect...then i took one of my tailight assemblies off and found that one of the wires had been pinched between awasher and the body (from the factory). spliced it back together, put the tailight back on carefully and everything works perfect. oh, the fuses kept blowing so i figured there had to be a short somewhere and that pinched wire was the cause. just took 5 years to work through the wire.

ok first thing u should do is obviously check ur light bulbs and fuses now if they all look good u can always test the connector where ur light bulbs go...now if all of that works it can be ur brake light switch its located under ur brake pedal it controls ur brake lights and all that good stuff....if not u might have a burn wire or circuit malfunction just check that out usually thats the problem.......

RE: tailights dont work
the other day i was driving and hit a slight bump then the interior lights came on, so igot out and checked the tails and sure enough they were on. so now whenever i put the headlights on if i play with the switch the interior light come on. so im guessing its the switch that probably has bad connection, but im not sure if a bump would make it work.
