I have and 87 mustang coupe. I'm doing body work on it getting ready to paint, but theres a big rust hole in the quarter panel just behind the door, but in front of the rear tire. Does anybody know were i can get this replacement part from, or have any ideas for me. Any help would be appreciated thanx.

 

You can look unde rear quarter pannel in
some of the mustang parts companies.
I've used some sheet metal from home depot
to fill in rust holes, with pop rivets . Then beat
down the rivets below the finished surface.
Coat all metal with a "metal prep" to convert
the rust, heavy primer or undercoat underneath.
and paint. This will give you a reasonable job
that will last several years of use.
