I own a set of March pulleys with the damper pulley built on. I also have the mach 1000 stereo system. I was a little worried about charging issues before i bought them, however, i have had no trouble at all with them. The only problem i had was the crank pulley was a little tricky to get on. (Don't forget to silicon the keyway.) March are a little more expensive because the name, but i got a good deal on them.

Do you have an upgraded factory ALT with the Mach1000 system? I would figure they do.

I have the March pulleys on my 96 GT. I live in AZ. The A/C still works well and the only time I see a draw on the Alt. is when I have my stereo on a little loud. My Batt. Seems to last the average 3 years here in AZ. Which is the average for most vehicles anyway. There was also an increas in power. before I installed the pulleys, I ran 15.1's. After the pulleys, I was able to get to 14.7. The only other add on's I have are Flows and T/B

I'm considering a pulley kit also. The only thing is that I have 2 400watt amps pushing my system. Do they make pulley kits that work with high watt stereos?
Capacitor.

Yeah get a capacitor, maybe a 5 farod capacitor, that should eliminate your problem. Any good car audio store should carry them. They are expensive though!
