I now have a 6 cylinder 1997.

I have a stock air intake with a K&N air filter with the air silencer removed.

If I switch to a ebay cai with one of those regular filters, will it do anything or would it be possibly worse? I mean I noticed a nice difference after doing that mod to my airbox.

 

you will not see any real big diffrence between the 2. on a car like that the air intake makes such a little diffrence. when you start to get more mods on your car it will help then.
