Default pull with or without tranny

im pulling an engine out of a wrecked 1990 GT and another out of a 95 mustang v6. the question is ive been told by a few people and they said it is easier to line everything up to put the motor back it if the tranny is pulled with it then just drop it in as a unit instead of tryiny to line everything back up? the V8 is going int the 95. should i pull the tranny with the v6 motor or leave it in?

I have always found it easier on a Mustang toremove and re-installthe engine and trans together.

Yup. Thats how i allways do it. Just be sure to plug or wrap a bag on the tailshaft housing or your gona have a mess even if you drain the trans first.

I would take them all out @ once...it take 2-3 guys but it makes your job 100% easier.
