My speedometer doesnt work bc i just took out the stock gears and put in 3.73's....how much does the part cost to fix it?

you need a 23 tooth speedo gear.

 

Yeah. You need a speedo gear. Not a chip. The speedo gear is easy to change if you have a jack/jack stands, or a set of ramps (or a pit, or a lift). If you've got cruise control you just unbolt the speed sensor from the side of the tranny and pull it out. iirc the speedo gear is stuck on the end of the speed sensor.
It's one little bolt (perhaps 3/8" or 12mm or something)

I'd say probably $25 at a dealer. You might try a decent auto parts store, see if they can get one cheaper.
