I might kill my father. He won't make up his mind on anything, except that I am going to do the swap myself....I don't have the equipment or the time to do it, and he knows that....This project will probably be changed again before I can post so....thank you for your help

why not find another 2.3?.. that 300 is a grunt engine for pulling seen it out pull many a 302's would atleast add 100-125 to the front..but I have to say it would be something else under the hood with a lil nitrous. I would thing the acc on your 2.3 would be a bitch to fit on the 6.

I have a 4.9 Inline Six in my 82 Pick-up. Not a swap I would want to do to a fox body mustang. Performance is limited to them, except as someone else above posted up, rock climbing stuff. I have the Offenhauser Intake Mani, Holley 4BBL Carb and Headman 6 to 1 Header, with flowmasters. Its nice, but not the kind of umph alot of people are looking for.

Check out www.fordsix.com/forums for more help on this subject. Lotsa guys there who are tuners for the straight sixes.

on a limited budget it is alway sbest to keep it simple, meaning 2.3 comes out 2.3 goes back in really easy and inexspensive, you will nicke and dime your self to death doing a swap even if you think you got every thing you need.
