Default Front end making noises while turning??

I have a 1992 Mustang GT and I'm not sure what the problem is, when I'm making a turn it crackles and whines. What could that be?? My rack & pinion?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If it is a balljoint, idler arm or pitman arm, what am I looking price wise to get it fixed?? Is it hard to do yourself?

i don't really know price wise i would but maybe 150-200 for the parts and if i am sure you will have to press the ball joints in if i was you i would just rebuild you front end with a kit that comes with upper &lower ball joints and all of your steering componets but it will be a little bit more and if you have a decent amount of tools and a little wreching experince than you can do it but it might just be easier to get a shop do it and you will have to get it realinged afterwards
