I'm an 18yr old kid looking for solutions! I bought a Bronco (poor condition, barely turns over) for $250. I traded it for an 87' GT body. I also got a 5spd tranny, 302 block, 302 w/ 351 heads and a 373 in the rear. First of all, did I get a good bargin? Secondly I want to put a bigger engine in for the track. I'm looking at a free 360 (carb). by looking around, I'm told that a 351W would be the best thing to use. I kind of want to stay w/ Carb. I don't like all the fuel injection mess. I don't want half the electronic crap, i.e. A/C, sensors, ect. Can i use the 5spd on a 360 or a 351? Is their any kits for the engine swap you may suggest. Pleaz let me know.
