i have a 85 gt w/ the aod and cfi. im thinking of getting rid of the cfi and going carb.I want to get rid of the computer and all of the unnecessary wiring including the computer but i have heard that the eec controls the tranny is this true, if it is true is their anything i can do to get rid of the computer and keep the aod . im not looking to convert to a 5 speed right know but i would really like a carb.
