So I should get 4.10s??? Are they good for an everyday driver? What do you mean by a shift kit?

4.30's for Auto
4.10's for MT

unless your a wuss then you can go

4.10's for Auto
3.73 for MT

4.30's on your car will make it feel like you just added 100 hp in 1st gear and 50hp in 2nd gear
I 100% agree!!

i was told 4.10 will wear your car out and KILL your MPG and to only get it for a track car.

the deal with gears is that they are overall torque multipliers. shift kits acctually improve transmission life(less clutch slipping) and there is no way for a set of gears to wear out your vehicle. the real question comes down to purpose of the vehicle, if you want some power and want a good/decent drivability go with 3.90's. also, how much power do you hopefully plan to push to the ground, the more power with lower gears(3.90+) the quicker you'll break them loose. Personally, a bigger gain in the long run would be a more stout torque converter(2400 stall plus). hope this could be of some help, if you have any more questions, let me know and ill be glad to clarify anything that may be of concern
